Biography
Rabbi Ronen Azriel Abitbol is a respected Sephardic rabbinic leader, educator, author, and community builder who currently serves as the Rabbi of B’NAI SEPHARDIM and Rosh Kollel of Midrash Geula in Hollywood, Florida.
With more than two decades of rabbinic leadership and Torah education, Rabbi Abitbol is recognized for his dedication to strengthening Jewish identity, promoting Torah learning, and providing practical halachic guidance to individuals and families from all backgrounds.
Born in Israel and educated in Israel, Canada, and Mexico, Rabbi Abitbol received extensive rabbinic training and developed a broad international perspective that continues to shape his approach to Torah leadership.
Fluent in six languages—Hebrew, Yiddish, English, French, Spanish, and Moroccan Arabic—he has successfully connected with diverse Jewish communities throughout North America and beyond.
For twenty-two years, Rabbi Abitbol served the Jewish community of Montreal, where he became widely known for his engaging Torah classes, compassionate leadership, and commitment to communal growth. He now leads the rapidly expanding Midrash Geula Kollel and the B’NAI SEPHARDIM community in South Florida, where he oversees educational programs, daily Torah study, and community outreach initiatives.
