Dayan Avraham Yaakov Dadoun serves as Av Bet Din and Founding Partner of Bet Din Bet Yosef of South Florida, an appointment confirmed by the Chief Rabbinate of Israel.
An experienced dayan, rabbinic leader, and educator, Rabbi Dadoun also serves as a Dayan of the Sephardi Beth Din of London and has dedicated many years to advancing rabbinic and Dayanut education throughout the Jewish world.
He is the Founder and Senior Director of the International Halacha Institute (IHI), an international initiative established to train and empower the next generation of rabbis and dayanim through structured study, mentorship, practical guidance, and advanced halachic education. Through IHI, students from communities across the world are given the opportunity to pursue serious Rabbanut and Dayanut training under the guidance of recognized Torah scholars and experienced rabbinic leaders.
As a Founding Partner of Bet Din Bet Yosef of South Florida, Rabbi Dadoun plays a central role in shaping the Bet Din's halachic standards, professional development, and long-term vision. Through his leadership and educational initiatives, he seeks to cultivate future rabbinic leadership and strengthen the availability of qualified Torah authorities and dayanim for communities throughout South Florida and beyond.
His work encompasses complex matters of Choshen Mishpat, Even HaEzer, gerut, yuchsin, and communal halachic leadership, which he approaches with integrity, discretion, wisdom, and sensitivity.
